普密蓬大帝御赐的手表与泰国皇室题材纪念章一组。

普密蓬·阿杜德出生于美国马萨诸塞州的剑桥市，早年在瑞士洛桑生活学习，1935年先后被册封为王储、亲王，1945年10月前往洛桑大学就读，1946年6月9日登基即位，成为泰国国王，王号尊称为拉玛九世；1950年5月5日正式加冕；1951年7月从洛桑大学毕业，同年12月返回泰国正式亲政，1987年5月5日开始被泰国民间尊称为“普密蓬大帝”；2016年10月13日在曼谷的诗里拉吉医院驾崩逝世；2019年5月5日，被正式追封为“王父普密蓬·阿杜德大帝”。

普密蓬·阿杜德是泰国历史上在位时间最长的国王，同时也是有确切记录的世界历史上在位时间第三长的独立主权国家君主，共计在位70年126天；他在位期间勤政爱民，致力于推动泰国社会经济的发展，在政治斗争中成功确立并巩固了王室的权威地位，多次依靠自身威望化解泰国国内的危机动荡局势，广受泰国人民的尊重和爱戴，被尊称为“国父”。
